For more than 20 years, lightness has been etched in the DNA of the Miche Supertype. We have imagined a future without forgetting the past. Today, once again, the future is now. 

The 12 speed Supertype cassette mimics the tried-and-tested structure used to construct Miche's modern cogsets, placing focus on the weight/resistance ratio.

The structure adopts ten single gears with the last two monobloc sprockets machined from solid. The intermediate sprockets as well as those in the last and penultimate positions are mod of Ergal AL 7075 T6 aluminum alloy with Hard Treatment (HT) anodization. This treatment increases hardness, smoothness and service life. The sprockets in the first and second positions, however, are made of alloy steel. 
To complete the set up, the spacers and lock ring are made in Ergal AL 7075 T6 aluminium alloy.

The result? A cassette that weighs only 188 grams for the 11-30T configuration. This means 35 grams less than the average weight declared by our competitors for the same product.
